HPHA-Large Mounted Rail segment

A piece of cut steel rail from Hythe Pier Railway.  Designed to be a paper weight or a piece of desk memorabilia. Removed from the railway in 2023, after at least 40 years of service, the slice of rail has been polished, sharp burrs removed and clear varnish applied. Mounted on a piece of wood also sourced from the pier, each piece is punched with a unique number and supplied with a certificate of authenticity. A plaque is attached celebrating 100 years of the Hythe Pier Railway.

Some pieces may contain bolt holes used during service. We cannot guarantee whether the piece supplied to you will include a bolt hole. Supplied with 4 small rubber pads, with adhesive backing, that you may choose to attach to the bottom of the rail to prevent scratching surfaces. 

This is not a toy and should be kept away from children. The piece is heavy. Although every effort has been made to remove sharp edges the piece should be handled with care. Wash hands after handling.
